Winter focus: Marshmallow Root

As the colder months approach, most yards change routine — less turnout, more hay, and adjustments to hard feed and workload. Those changes are worth planning for, and supporting normal digestive wellbeing is part of a sensible winter routine.

Marshmallow root (Althaea officinalis) is a mucilage-rich herb with a long traditional use as gentle botanical support alongside good forage and management. Traditional use is not evidence of clinical effect, and supplements are not a substitute for veterinary advice.
